NEW USHIO OPTO Blue-Violet Laser Diodes Combine High Power Performance & Low Power Consumption

The Optoelectronics Company is delighted to introduce the new USHIO HL40033G 405nm industrial laser diode which augments the range of blue-violet wavelength laser diodes from USHIO OPTO Semiconductors, Inc., a global provider of optical devices. The HL40033G laser diode offers superior performance with 405nm violet lasing at 1W optical output power in a compact 9mm package. Typical operating current is 900mA, threshold current is 230mA and operating voltage is 5.0V in multi transverse mode with TE mode oscillation. It is a tiny, energy-efficient, realistic alternative for manufacturers of biomedical and direct imaging systems to incorporate as a replacement for large, power-hungry solid state lasers. In addition to biomedical, medical and direct imaging, it is also suitable for 3D printing, industrial and measurement applications. HL400053MG & HL40041MG blue-violet laser diodes The other blue violet laser diodes in the USHIO range are the HL400053MG and the HL40041MG. The USHIO HL40053MG is ideal for use in direct imaging, biomedical, medical and measurement applications. It offers violet lasing at 398 – 410nm with optical output power of 400mW in a 5.6mm package in multi transverse mode with TE mode oscillation. It has a low operating current of 370mA and low operating voltage of 4.9V at 400mW. The USHIO HL40041MG offers violet lasing at 404nm with optical output power of 150mW in a small 5.6mm package. Its operating temperature range is -10 to +50 degrees C, its operating voltage is low at 5V and it is also ideal for use in biomedical, medical and measurement applications.
